Dereham Windmill is the last of surviving windmill in the Dereham district of Norfolk. I was approached by the Windmill Committee to design and customise their Wix website templates for them, as part of a drive to create more community engagement with the windmill.
The Committee chose Wix as their preferred development platform as they wanted to easily update the website themselves without requiring technical skills.
The final interactive website acts as a showcase for the windmill and lets visitors to the site share their photos and memories of the windmill, whilst also keeping them informed of up and coming events and exhibitions at the Grade 2 listed, 19th century windmill.
